Lundquist Built builds in South Orange County. Jacinto Built builds in North County San Diego. Blake Lundquist and Paul Jacinto run both of them, together, we treat the two as one company that happens to carry two names.
This is not a referral arrangement, and it is not two shops trading favors. Both of us are on every project, we work off one bench of trades across both counties, and nothing about the standard changes when the sign does.
The names exist because the markets do, different agencies, different inspectors, different crews, and because Paul lives in Carlsbad and Blake lives in San Clemente. Whichever name is on the sign, you get both of us.
Paul Jacinto has been building and remodeling homes since 2011, first on his own rental and flip portfolio, then for the clients he was representing as a real estate agent, which he still is. That combination is rare, and it is why homeowners here keep coming back: he knows which rooms return the money and which only spend it, and he can tell you what a project will actually cost before you buy the house.
We stay deliberately small, a crew that grew up around the work. One of us walks your property, both of us stay on it, and neither of us hands your job to somebody you have never met. The trades on your job are crews Paul has worked with for over a decade, small shops and local artisans who answer the phone and stand behind their work.

Paul founded Jacinto Built and runs it alongside Blake. He is on site through the build, and his read on what a project will actually cost, fifteen years of it, is what keeps our numbers honest before a single trade is booked. Jacinto Built holds a Class B general building license. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, which means clear communication with homeowners and the entire crew on site, no translator needed.
Blake runs operations across both companies — contracts, invoicing and the systems that keep every project reporting the same numbers the same way. He owns the job costing and makes sure it gets done; Paul prices alongside him and walks the scope with our trades before a number is written. He came from five years running operations at California Pools, where he managed the construction of more than two hundred pools, and he and Paul run Jacinto Built and Lundquist Built together.
Seth runs construction across both companies — field supervision, trade sequencing, and the standard the work is held to on site. He is who the trades hear from when a schedule moves, and who walks the job when a phase closes out.
Tyler runs the day-to-day on site alongside Seth — build schedule, trade coordination, quality control, and progress billing as milestones complete. When a plan needs adjusting mid-build he works through the constructability himself, so what gets built matches what was drawn.

Paul is fluent in all three. For homeowners, that means direct conversations in the language you’re most comfortable with, no interpreter, no misunderstandings, no games of telephone. For the crew, it means the person running your project can talk to every framer, plasterer, and tile-setter on site in their own language, catch problems early, and make sure the details land the way they were drawn.
It sounds like a small thing. On a custom build, it’s one of the biggest.
